Hello

Alper YILDIZ

I am a PhD candidate at Texas A&M University Nuclear Engineering department specialized in computational fluid dynamics.

What I Do

Research

I am a part of a thermal-hydraulic research group in the Nuclear Engineering Department at Texas A&M University. My academic research interests include fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and machine learning. In my Ph.D. project, I investigated flow behavior in a helical coil steam generator. During my graduate studies, I worked on numerous projects related to the design and safety analysis of nuclear reactors. Previously, I was a researcher at TOBB ETU Hydro Energy Research Center. In this role, I was part of several projects including CFD based design of a bathroom fan and design of a turbine test section.
